KONAMI September Sale 2026 in Japan: Steam Until Sept. 16, Nintendo eShop Until Sept. 21

Key information

Which parts of the September Sale are still active?

The important point is that KONAMI does not use one universal deadline for every storefront. In its September 3 announcement, KONAMI lists the Steam Store sale through September 16 at 2:00 a.m. JST and the Nintendo eShop sale through September 21 at 11:59 p.m. JST. Steam therefore ends first, and its deadline is early in the morning rather than at the end of September 16.

The PlayStation Store period shown in the same September 3 announcement ended on September 9 at 11:59 p.m. JST. It is therefore no longer part of the active sale window covered by that announcement as of September 11. KONAMI’s general digital-sale page can show several storefronts and sale periods at once, so readers should match each title with its specific platform and end date instead of assuming that every item on the page shares the same deadline.

KONAMI also states that sale details may change and advises customers to confirm prices, periods, and lineups on the individual store pages before purchase. That instruction matters here because the Japanese sale page specifically says its information is intended for the Japanese market.

Notable Steam deals in Japan

The Japanese Steam Store lineup includes several internationally recognizable KONAMI series. SILENT HILL 2 is listed at ¥3,432, down 60% from ¥8,580. SILENT HILL f is ¥4,290, or 50% off its ¥8,580 regular price. METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1 is ¥4,488 at 40% off, while Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is ¥2,750 at 50% off.

The Steam lineup also includes larger percentage discounts. Yu-Gi-Oh! EARLY DAYS COLLECTION is ¥1,815 at 70% off, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is ¥825 at 75% off. Darwin’s Paradox! is ¥1,584 at 60% off. The highest discount in the Steam list published by KONAMI is ZONE OF THE ENDERS: The 2nd RUNNER – M∀RS (listed on the Japanese sale page as 「ANUBIS ZONE OF THE ENDERS : Ｍ∀ＲＳ」), which is ¥1,095 at 80% off.

Notable Nintendo eShop deals in Japan

The Nintendo eShop portion has the later deadline, ending September 21 at 11:59 p.m. JST. KONAMI’s published lineup reaches 80% off on selected titles. SUPER CRAZY RHYTHM CASTLE drops from ¥2,200 to ¥440, an 80% discount. The Japanese-titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel entries in KONAMI’s Japan sale list also reach 80% off. The sale announcement lists those product names in Japanese, so this article does not replace them with unverified English translations.

Other Nintendo eShop discounts include Yu-Gi-Oh! EARLY DAYS COLLECTION at ¥1,815, or 70% off, and Darwin’s Paradox! at ¥1,584, or 60% off. Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is ¥2,750 at 50% off, and KONAMI lists the Nintendo Switch 2 version at the same ¥2,750 sale price. METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1 is ¥4,488 at 40% off.

The lineup also includes GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon at ¥1,636, or 40% off, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection at ¥1,320, or 60% off, and Contra: Operation Galuga at ¥1,925, or 50% off. Because standard editions, deluxe editions, DLC, and Nintendo Switch 2 versions can appear alongside one another, check the complete product name before completing a purchase.

What the Japan-market label means for overseas readers

KONAMI explicitly labels the Japanese digital-sale page as information for the Japanese market. That means the yen prices and the dates in this article should be treated as Japan-region information, not as global pricing. KONAMI also operates a separate English-language digital-sale page for the United States, and the sale periods shown there can differ from the Japanese page.

If your Steam, Nintendo, or PlayStation account uses another region, check the storefront associated with that account. A game discounted in Japan may have a different discount, a different deadline, or no matching promotion in another market. This article does not recommend changing an account region to obtain Japanese pricing. It is intended to explain the Japan sale accurately for readers who legitimately use or monitor the Japanese storefronts.

Why some Japanese game names are left untranslated

KONAMI’s Japanese announcement includes titles aimed primarily at the domestic market, including プロ野球スピリッツ2026 and がんばれゴエモン大集合！. The official sources used for this article do not establish English product titles that can safely replace those Japanese names. To avoid presenting an unofficial translation as a product name, this English article keeps such titles in their official Japanese form when they need to be mentioned and focuses its deal tables on titles with established English naming.

This distinction is important for store searches. A descriptive translation can help explain what a game is, but it should not be mistaken for the exact name readers need to search in a Japanese digital store. The same principle applies to Japan-only Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel entries in the Nintendo eShop lineup.

What to check before buying

First, confirm the storefront and platform. The same game can have a different sale price or deadline on Steam, Nintendo eShop, and PlayStation Store. Second, check the edition. KONAMI’s lists contain standard editions, deluxe editions, DLC, soundtracks, bundles, and platform-specific releases, so the lowest price shown for a series may not apply to the exact version you want.

Third, confirm the live store page immediately before checkout. KONAMI states that sale details may change and specifically asks customers to verify the price, duration, and lineup at the relevant store. For the active Japan-market periods covered here, the Steam Store deadline is September 16 at 2:00 a.m. JST and the Nintendo eShop deadline is September 21 at 11:59 p.m. JST.
